First of all, I heard this brilliant man say this brilliant thing about 3 years ago. Even then it struck me as profound. Today it strikes me in this light: This could explain why so often I find myself unfulfilled in a church service. We are trying to understand God on Christian terms. This is not whole. **Not that I hate the church. Hate is a strong word. let's not jump to any bitter bonnie (wierd, iiii can't believe i just came up with a new name association...debbie downer...sensitive suzy....the list goes on and on) conclusions. **
There was something else I was going to say about this, but my family keeps talking to me so now it's evaded me.
OHHH I remember. A good friend of mine once said, "Christ is continually representing himself differently, extremely differently, in each new generation." And this gives me hope.

What an encourging thing to say. The thing I don't understand is chruches that say they like to do things the old fashioned way, It's NOT the olden days anymore!
I was ready for some Ob la di ob la da... but it's cool. I heard that quote, perhaps at school? My school is all about Motherhood of God--- (as well as the Fatherhood...) and I love hearing that truth too you know? love you kid. MAN I wish you I had picked up my phone yesterday. I was at a baseball game, didn't hear it.
